National Marketing/ Brand Manager

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate marketing policies and programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered by GLPL and its competitors and identifying potential to maximize opportunities.
  • Develop pricing strategies to maximize cost-effectiveness, profits, or shares of the market while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Planning for the marketing budget with the approval of the respective authority.
  • Ensure the delivery and planning of the marketing activities are in line with budget guidelines. and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.
  • Must work towards objectives such as region-wise revenue generation, cost reduction, or risk mitigation.
  • Responsible for facilitating region-wise growth, sales, and marketing strategy.
  • To help the company increase its revenues by creating a marketing plan that gives the company a competitive advantage.
  • Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns.
  • Devising and presenting ideas and strategies.
  • Developing promotional activities.
  • Organizing marketing events, where possible.
  • Updating the database and using a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Coordinating internal marketing and an organization's culture.
  • Managing campaigns on social media.
  • Create short-term and long-term plans for business development and align them with the vision of the organization.
  • Identify marketplace trends before they begin to play out.
  • Consult with product development personnel on product specifications, such as design, color,or packaging.
  • Build brand loyalty with the target segment of the business.

Requirements: 

  • A Management Post Graduate, preferably from a reputed institute,
  • Having a minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in FMCG/CPG industry
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven track record in managing sales and marketing functions as 2nd in command.
  • A highly result-oriented person with a proven track record.
