Roles and responsibilities:
- Finalizing the monthly production plan in line with market requirements.
- Monitor and report process waste in WMS.
- Monitor and report tobacco utilization.
- Participate in projects impacting supply chain optimizations.
- Improve flexibility, reactivity, and reliability in the respective work streams.
- Ensure product quality as per the defined specifications.
- Implement a product quality rating system and monitor quality trends.
- Speedily and proactively deal with market complaints.
- Ensure machine utilization of 95+ weekly.
- Planning procurement, logistics, and scheduling brand manufacturing schedules to meet shipment plans, ensuring “on time in full" servicing of the market.
- Ongoing monitoring of inventory levels in stores is necessary to ensure sales targets and inventory targets can be met; this includes replenishment, rebalancing, and returns.
- Manage store replenishment for locally and overseas-sourced products, which involves:
- Validating store replenishment calendars with suppliers
- Managing settings within the automatic replenishment software for local orders
- Managing order entry, tracking order progress and delivery, and managing claims.
- Build a strong relationship with the sales and marketing teams to manage the inventory impact of brand marketing campaigns and new brand or product launches.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with suppliers to ensure high order fill rates and quick replenishment times, adherence to material specifications (WMS and tobacco), and error-free operations.
- Communicate ideas for slow-moving products or brands to the brand team to ensure minimal aging stock.
- Contribute to the improvement of the processes and information systems related to his or her activity.
- Structure processes and ensure adherence to drive improvements across the supply chain. metrics.
- Prepare, monitor, and report the key metrics around the planning process—including service rate, inventory, etc.—and be accountable for driving structural improvements around these metrics.
- Manage, develop, and coach the technical team for effective performance and a succession plan.
- Responsible for managing the communication between key stakeholders in assessing the supply risks, gaps, and opportunities as a part of the pre-S&OP process.
