The Traffic Control Signal (TCS) Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of traffic control signal systems, with a particular focus on utilizing Lisa software, designing Traffic Light Priority (TLP) systems, and adhering to European traffic control standards and codes. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of traffic engineering principles.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed plans for traffic control signal systems, including signal timing, phasing, and coordination.
- Utilize Lisa software to create and simulate traffic control signal designs, ensuring optimal traffic flow and safety.
- Design Traffic Light Priority (TLP) systems to facilitate the smooth movement of public transport vehicles, emergency services, and other priority vehicles.
- Analyze traffic data and adjust signal timing and coordination strategies to optimize traffic flow and minimize congestion.
- Preferred - Utilize simulation tools to model various traffic scenarios and assess the effectiveness of proposed signal designs.
- Stay abreast of European traffic control standards, regulations, and codes, ensuring that all designs and implementations comply with applicable requirements.

- Provide expertise and guidance in developing and analyzing with Lisa software
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports related to traffic control signal designs and implementations.

- Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to major stakeholders and project managers.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Lisa software, TLP systems, and European traffic control standards, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
