Optical Fiber Manager
Job Description
- Plan, design, and oversee the deployment and expansion of optical fiber networks, including FTTH/FTTx infrastructure.
- Supervise fiber installation, splicing, jointing, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and service quality.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance, fault identification, and timely resolution of fiber network issues.
- Coordinate with NOC, network operations, field teams, contractors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure proper use of fiber-optic testing equipment, including OTDR, power meters, and optical loss testers.
- Manage fiber route planning, documentation, network mapping, and as-built drawings.
- Lead, guide, and evaluate technical teams to ensure efficient field operations and project completion.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Analyze recurring network faults and implement measures to minimize downtime and improve network performance.

Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related technical fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in fiber-optic network deployment, maintenance, or telecommunications operations.
- Prior experience in supervising fiber-optic projects and managing technical teams is preferred.
