•  Plan, supervise, and maintain mechanical equipment, machinery, and plant systems. 
• Monitor machinery performance and ensure smooth and efficient plant operations. 
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment. 
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and identify root causes of equipment failures. 
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules. 
• Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime. 
• Supervise installation, commissioning, repair, and modification of mechanical systems. 
• Maintain maintenance records, spare-parts requirements, and equipment documentation. 
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company policies. 
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for technical support. 
• Monitor spare-parts inventory and recommend timely procurement. 
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and productivity. 
• Prepare maintenance reports and provide technical updates to management. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. 
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production, factory, or industrial maintenance. 
• Experience in plant machinery, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting will be preferred. 
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and engineering practices. 
• Good understanding of industrial safety and maintenance standards. 
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Good communication, coordination, and team management skills. 
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment in Biratnagar.
