Lab Technician
Job Description
- Collect, label, and process patient samples, including home collection services.
- Perform laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of results.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), biosafety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Manage laboratory supplies, reagents, and documentation.
- Record and maintain patient reports in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Skills
- Experience with quality control and assurance procedures
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety standards
Job Specification
- Must have completed CMLT.
- Minimum 6 months laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, testing methods, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and computer applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Must own a vehicle and possess a valid driving license.
