IT Officer
Job Description
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and communication systems.
- Ensure optimal performance and availability of IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Monitor LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Configure and manage network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Ensure network security and performance.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and threats.
- Manage user access controls, antivirus, and data protection measures.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Coordinate procurement, installation, and disposal of IT assets.
Skills
- Knowledge of Windows Server Linux and Microsoft 365 environments
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network administration.
- Professional certifications are preferred.
- knowledge of NEXT ERP system.
