Hub Incharge Associate

Job Description

  1. Expansion
    1. Must able to add resources on need basis i.e. riders
    1. Must able to travel anywhere.
  2. Business
    1. Must able to generate business.
  3. Daily Communication and Coordination:
    1. Maintain daily communication with all the riders across the assigned region.
    1. Daily communication with Regional Manager
    1. Ensure smooth coordination between branches, hubs, and delivery teams.
  4. Inventory Management:
    1. Conduct daily inventory tally.
    1. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory status and reporting to RM.
  5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Management:
    1. Perform daily checks of COD collected by riders.
    1. Sit with riders to address any discrepancies or missing updates in COD records.
    1. Ensure riders update their COD status regularly and accurately.
    1. Reporting RM in case of COD risk.
  6. Performance Monitoring:
    1. Review rider and branch performance on a weekly basis.
    1. Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and take corrective action if necessary.
  7. Cost Management:
    1. Analyze and report on weekly costs vs. revenue, including direct costs, indirect costs, mid-mile costs, and rider costs.
    1. Prepare and review weekly and monthly rider payment reports.
  8. Delivery Operations:
    1. Ensure that all goods received at branches or by riders are delivered the same day.
    1. For undelivered goods, ensure a proper note is written with valid reasons.
    1. Ensure timely forwarding of parcels from branches to the hub and facilitate the same across all branches.
  9. Proof of Delivery (POD) Checks:
    1. Conduct daily POD checks, cross-checking delivered and undelivered packets.
  10. Team Management:
    1. Conduct regular huddles with the team i.e. riders to ensure clear communication and address any issues.
  11. Travel Requirements:
    Be willing to travel to any location as needed to ensure smooth operations and address issues.

Job Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role within the logistics industry.
