Central Technical & Maintenance Officer
Job Description
-
Provide centralized technical support to all plants.
-
Conduct plant visits, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance supervision.
-
Monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
-
Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions and repairs.
-
Monitor critical spare parts and coordinate with Procurement/OEMs.
-
Maintain maintenance, breakdown, and inspection records.
-
Standardize maintenance procedures, checklists, and technical practices.
-
Guide and train plant maintenance teams.
-
Report major technical issues and recommend repairs/replacements to management.
-
Coordinate with Plant In-charges, vendors, and external technicians.
Skills
- Strong practical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Hands-on approach with good technical understanding.
- Good coordination communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under production and breakdown pressure.
- Strong safety awareness documentation discipline and cost-conscious approach
Job Specification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, industrial machinery, filling/weighing systems, conveyors, carousel systems, and basic automation.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Nepal.
