Business Development Officer
Job Description
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and other channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate products/services.
- Conduct sales presentations, meetings, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to conversion and onboarding.
- Follow up with prospects regularly to improve lead-to-customer conversion.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Research market trends, competitors, customer needs, and potential market segments.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and business development reports.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, client interactions, and sales activities in the CRM/MIS.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Support client retention, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, meetings, and industry functions when required.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales performance, pipeline, market opportunities, and challenges.

Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or client relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and achieve measurable targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools.
