Asst. Manager- Production Planning & BOM
Job Description
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and capacity.
- Monitor production plan vs. actual and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs in the ERP system.
- Ensure BOM accuracy, revisions, material specifications, and quantities.
- Monitor WIP, finished goods, inventory, and production lead time.
- Prepare production, material shortage, capacity, and inventory reports.
- Track KPIs such as plan achievement, schedule adherence, and material availability.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of PPC production planning MRP and BOM management
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production capacity planning
- Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Good understanding of inventory control and supply-chain processes
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering or related discipline
- 4+ years in production planning, materials planning or BOM management in manufacturing
- Ability to analyze production and inventory data
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
