Area Sales Manager

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales volume of your product
  • Identify sales opportunities and alternative routes to the market of your product all over the assigned region
  • Focus on acquiring new customers (Dealers), developing close relations and providing excellent customer service of your product in line with RSM and Sales Head
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and completed documentation at all times from your market (docs of retailers & dealers) and present to RSM and Sales Head
  • Perform credit checks on Dealers (and down the line if necessary) to ensure outstanding balances are within limits before accepting an order
  • Inform & confirm daily customers' orders with RSM and Sales Head & provide dispatch update at the end of each day
  • Achieve sales target of your product line, as communicated by the sales head.
  • Follow up on parameters in a timely manner & recover the amounts due of your product line
  • Provide feedback & input from company's target market to help shape marketing strategy of your product Line.
  • Take responsibility down the line for every day-to-day activity and their grievances and communicate the same to the head of HR & sales (if required)
  • Follow-up the sales targets of your team (Daily, Weekly, Quarterly, and yearly)
  • Establish, maintain and expand your product or dealer base in the assigned region as per given target
  • Generate required sales and collection reports and present it to RSM and Sales Head whenever required

Job Specification


  • Master’s Degree Preference having 7+ years of experience in related field.
  • Good presentation skills and sound knowledge of office package.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Good report writing and communication skills
