Roles and responsibilities:
Administration:
- Keeping customers and clients informed throughout the process and reporting back to them at every stage. Collect data, present it in an accessible form and write detailed reports.
- Assist the administration and Finance team for efficient and effective general administration management.
- Ensure well-established and maintained documentation filing systems for office correspondence and administrative and log-related official documents.
- Communicate with shipper via email, what's App, or WhatsApp regarding new PO, shipping documents, freight and so on.
- Handling Telephone calls
- Receiving official phone call and talking to them as per their requirement and transferring the call to required personal extension.
- Handling Official Letter
- Prepare official letter as per requirement and forward to related office. Handle the incoming letter and make proper filing and registration
- Handling day-to-day administrative task
Financial:
- Throughout knowledge of corporate matters.
- Manual Accounting and software-based Accounting (Tally) ( at least must be able to extract trial balance)
- Income tax and VAT. Computation of taxes and filing of tax returns.
- Ms Excel
- Handle all transactions related to accounts
- Maintain daily accounts in accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Develop and maintain accounting records and financial statements
- Final audit report
- Ensure timely payment of taxes and its reporting to the IRD
