Job Description

  • Deputy Chief Executive Officer
    • Provide direction and leadership for achieving Company's objectives.
    • Formulate and implement the company's strategic and annual business plans.
    • Guide and lead the management and advise Chief Executive Officer for successful operation of the company.
    • Ensure that the company complies with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
    • Develop and implement effective MIS & IT System.
 
  • Deputy Genaral Manager
    • Regulate and ensure that all operational activities of concerned Departments - Finance, HR/MS, Internal Control and Information Technology
    • Assist in the development of long-range plans covering the essential elements of operations, facilities, finances and human resource .Review operation procedures and set/modify the rules and regulations up on necessity after obtaining due approval from the competent authority
    • To ensure all staff are well briefed on their responsibilities and are given constant supervision and motivation on all aspects of their work
    • Align these above mentioned functions with the overall company strategy in coordinating with all other departments such as Marketing, Underwriting, Claims and Reinsurance to ensure smooth operations in the organization
    • Conduct activities such as Annual General Meeting, Annual Budget Meeting, Share Administration, Investment and Solvency Management. Assist in preparation of monthly report for Beema Samiti, quarterly reports, half yearly accounts and annual budget
    • Identify training needs and capability gaps within the team and support the delivery of all key
      training to the staff in consultation with the CEO/Dy.CEO. Handle performance appraisal process and also coaching, mentoring and disciplinary actions as needed in conjunction with Department of Human Resource
  • Chief Manager - Underwriting
    • Manage team of underwriters and monitor workflow
    • Underwrite loans based on individual agency and/or investor guidelines on an overflow basis
    • Comply with all state and federal regulatory compliance procedures as it pertains to underwriting
    • Work with producers and customers to handle difficult, complex accounts and resolve issues beyond the authority of the branch underwriting staff
    • Identify potential new agents to promote company’ business
    • Train underwriters and underwriting trainees regarding underwriting and procedural guidelines and requirements and others as may be delegated
    • Back up the Branch Manager on active accounts and fills in for other underwriters when they are out of the office
    • Verify if the individual meets the required guidelines, to weigh the risks associated with servicing the person
    • Handle performance appraisal process and also coaching, mentoring and disciplinary actions as needed in conjunction with Department of Human Resource.

    • Eligibility Criteria
      • The candidate should have work experience in the position of manager or above for at least
      • 5 Years in any insurance company or 8 Years in Banking and Financial sector of which minimum of two years’ experience of Insurance Sector is preferred.
      • She/he should be qualified under Insurers Corporate Good Governance Guidelines 2075.
      • Age: Not Exceeding 60 Years.
      • The candidate should have excellent organizational, leadership, communication and analytical skills.
    • Business Plan
      • Candidates are required to submit a strategic business plan which she/he will pursue to achieve the organizational goals at the time of application. She/he should submit a CV with short description of previous experience stating why she/he is the proper person to lead the Company.
    • Performance Agreement
      • The successful candidate shall have to enter into a Performance Agreement with the Board of Directors before appointment.
 
  • Deputy Genaral Manager

      • She/he should be qualified under Insurers Corporate Good Governance Guidelines 2075.
      • Age: Not Exceeding 60 Years.

    • Business Plan
      • Candidates are required to submit a strategic business plan which she/he will pursue to achieve the organizational goals at the time of application. She/he should submit a CV with short description of previous experience stating why she/he is the proper person to lead the Company.

Education Qualification

  • Deputy Chief Executive Officer
    • Masters Degree in Management, Economics, Insurance, Finance, Account, Commerce or Chartered Accountancy with Bachelor Degree.
  • Deputy Genaral Manager
    • Master’s Degree in Management, Economics, Insurance, Finance, Account, Commerce or Chartered Accountancy with Bachelor Degree.
  • Chief Manager - Underwriting
    • Bachelor Degree in Management, Economics, Insurance, Finance, Account or Commerce.
