Project Manager/Business Development Officer

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to pursue government projects in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, including officers and developers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare, review, and submit bids for government projects, adhering to all requirements and deadlines.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government authorities and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
  • Follow up on bids submitted, negotiate contracts, and facilitate the contract signing process.
  • Identify and pitch new project ideas to government entities, demonstrating the organization's capabilities and expertise.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the project implementation phases.
  • Monitor project progress, address any issues or concerns, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of project performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Handle dispute management within the team and with clients, employing effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, government regulations, and market developments relevant to government projects.

Job Specification


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s degree is preferred.)
  • Proven experience in Government Project Management and Proposal Writing and Bid Management.
  • Strong Analytical and Organizational Skills are required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills is required.
  • Experience in following up on bids, negotiating contracts, and facilitating the contract signing process.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, government regulations, and market developments relevant to government projects.
