Procurement Manager

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of internal procedures and documentation in relation to overseas procurements.
  • Processing for LC, customs clearance, contracts with suppliers, and other parties for getting goods in good condition.
  • Communication opportunities to achieve better value for money through better procurement practices.
  • Demonstrate professionalism towards sensitive and confidential information
  • Drive contract and vendor compliance with the new and existing agreements
  • Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided;
  • Implement and maintain routines to ensure procurement regulation, legal requirements, the purchasing policy, corporate social responsibility policies, etc. are followed up.
  • Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments, government bodies, customs and excise departments, and banks. .
  • Responsible for supporting the budgeting process in regards to the dedicated categories in alignment with group procurement
  • Contract management and negotiation.

Job Specification


  • Graduation in Finance or Administration/Masters preferred
  • Should have progressive experience in procurement and excise management.
  • At least 3 to 4 years of work experience in a related field, especially in brewing, is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading an organization and monitoring plan/performance progress.
  • Adequate computer skills for using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Must have a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
  • Must have project management skills, strong reporting communication, negotiation, and analytic skills.
  • Require good time management, relationship management skills, and teamwork.
  • Ability to work under stress and tight deadlines to meet set goals.
  • Ability to deal with and liaison with governmental bodies and customs parties.
  • Knowledge of setting up a system of procurement management and coordinating with different units at customs and banks.
